Reefer Management

Reefer Two-Way Control and Management

ReeferMate® is a stand-alone cost-effective solution that enables you to monitor and manage remotely your refrigerated trailers and cargo.

ReeferMate® provides information on the position of your trailers and immediate alerts when a specific threshold, such as temperature, is exceeded. Information is pulled directly from the electronics of the refrigeration unit and/or through separate CarrierWeb sensors.  The alarm messages are sent to email addresses or mobile telephone.

BENEFITS

Reduce load loss/damage
Thanks to the ReeferMate®, driver and dispatch are alerted when the trailer’s temperature exceeds the range required for a particular shipment. Alert reporting, such as unscheduled door opening alerts prevents load theft. And, daily environmental reports may limit the carrier’s liability in the case the cargo arrives damaged.

Improve utilization of assets and visibility into operations
You now have a quick and easy overview of your trailers. Use execution reporting to see trailers that have been parked too long, by observing the number of days that have been spent in the same place.

Improve customer service
With ReeferMate®, you are able to create “landmarks” that automatically show when the trailer you are tracking arrives and departs from the zone that you have defined. It allows you to receive reminders to start billing for detention and, where appropriate, for fuel used inside the landmark.

Manage and reduce reefer maintenance costs
By constantly tracking your working fleet engine hours of working, you are now able to plan ahead for PM, and avoid failures on the road.
